Benchmark Expands Manufacturing With New Facility in Jalisco

Benchmark Electronics, a global leader in engineering, design, and manufacturing services, has officially inaugurated its new, cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Located in the Parque Industrial San Jorge in Tlajomulco, the 29,821m² facility marks a 50% increase in the company’s regional manufacturing footprint and reflects Benchmark’s growing commitment to Mexico as a strategic hub for innovation and production.

“Our new facility in Guadalajara is the cornerstone of our investment in Mexico and supports our global growth strategy. This new facility increases our capabilities in the region with an optimized space to serve complex and highly regulated industries. With over 27,870m² of manufacturing capability, this expansion will allow us to scale with new and existing customers who have come to us for our world-class product realization services provided by a specialty EMS partner who understands how to support this class of products,” says Jeff Benck, President and CEO, Benchmark. 

The company aims to consolidate operations in the region into a single, purpose-built facility that improves production flow, increases scalability, and elevates the company’s ability to deliver world-class product realization services. The site is equipped with modern IT infrastructure and a streamlined layout to maximize efficiency and collaboration.

The grand opening ceremony welcomed Benchmark employees, customers, local officials, academic partners, and community members. It underscored the company’s long-standing presence in Guadalajara and its intention to further integrate into the local ecosystem.
