Saia, a leading provider of less-than-truckload (LTL) freight services, has unveiled a collaboration with Fletes Mexico, specifically its LTL division, Carga Express. The partnership aims to revolutionize cross-border freight services between the United States and Mexico, promising enhanced efficiency and reliability for customers of both companies.

“We are excited about this new partnership with Carga Express, as our companies share similar values when it comes to providing efficient, on-time transportation solutions for customers. Our customers will benefit from Carga Express’ network of distribution centers and commitment to providing leading LTL service into and across Mexico,” says Juan Barroso, Vice President of International, Saia.

The agreement sets Saia to handle Carga Express’ shipments entering the United States, while Carga Express will reciprocate by managing Saia’s freight entering Mexico. This seamless exchange of services is poised to streamline operations and elevate service quality for cross-border shipments.

Saia expansion plans, including the opening of 15 to 20 new terminals, underscore its commitment to enhancing service offerings and catering to the evolving needs of its clientele.

“We are very pleased to partner with Saia. Our customers will greatly benefit from Saia’s extensive network of terminals around the United States and with access to our network throughout Mexico, we will be able to offer Saia’s US customers unparalleled north and southbound cross-border services,” shares Miguel Gomez, CEO, Fletes Mexico.
