Leading provider of Connected Operations Cloud solutions Samsara inaugurated its new office in Mexico City in response to the rapid growth the company has seen in Mexico and this year’s investment objectives.

“Our customers in Mexico are leading the way in transforming physical operations across the region. Together, we have a shared focus on enhancing security and keeping drivers safe on the road. Our rapid growth in Mexico shows the strong ROI we provide to our customers. Samsara’s new office will provide a space for in-person collaboration for our growing team as we continue to invest in new product innovations specific to the needs of the Mexican market,” says Sanjit Biswas, CEO and Co-Founder, Samsara.

Five of the top 10 trucking companies in Mexico already use Samsara's solutions, says the company. To accommodate the escalating demand, Samsara plans to double its workforce in Mexico this year, with investments earmarked for various operational aspects including technology, sales, and customer support.

Samsara's multi-application platform is specifically designed to address the complex challenges encountered by organizations, making it a preferred choice for businesses seeking robust and scalable solutions. Samsara's expansive IoT data set and ecosystem of third-party integrations position it as a frontrunner in delivering AI-driven insights to its clientele.

“Mexico is a critical component in North America’s supply chain ecosystem, and with that comes a rapid increase in demand for technology solutions that address local challenges and can scale across borders. Samsara is uniquely positioned to help customers meet the specific needs of Mexico, while enabling their compliance with applicable requirements when crossing into the United States,” says Julia Monroy, Sales Director for Mexico, Samsara.

In response to the unique needs of the Mexican market, Samsara has introduced tailored features aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and security. These include the Immobilizer, which automatically halts vehicles upon detecting tampering, ensuring the safety of drivers and cargo. Additionally, the implementation of Driver QR Codes facilitates seamless pairing of drivers with their vehicles, enhancing overall operational transparency and efficiency. The AG52 Asset Gateway further augments security measures by providing real-time alerts on door activities and cargo presence, mitigating the risks of theft.

“I think that all transportation companies that want to evolve, modernize, and receive information about what is happening in their operations should use Samsara. It gives you the information you need to make those critical decisions," says Gerardo Jiménez, General Director, Autotransportes Pilot.
