Q: What do you expect from your participation in the XXXVI International Mining Convention after Hurricane Otis? 
A: Returning to Acapulco meant a great deal. We have participated in this mining convention for more than eight years. We were impacted by Hurricane Otis in 2023, which hit precisely during the opening of the mining convention. I can truly say we faced fear and uncertainty returning to the site of that destruction. It required immense courage and determination to move past the damage. We were resolved to seize the event, strengthen the mining sector, and above all, conquer that fear and the panic we had experienced.

That is exactly what happened for GRUPO RYASA. I felt gratification, satisfaction, and pride, saying, "We achieved it. We closed the year triumphantly and gave a strong impulse to Acapulco and the mining sector." This International Mining Convention is the second most important in the region and the largest of all for us. Given that the main mines and key directors from all of Mexican mining attend, GRUPO RYASA cannot afford to fall behind.

We are always at the forefront, distinguished by breaking paradigms, seeking new markets, and always supporting the industry, always hand-in-hand with the operator, the plant personnel, and the mining operation itself. The convention's timing and the significant economic impact it brought will be extremely helpful to the city’s recovery. The entire event was spectacular. We were delighted to return to Acapulco and follow through on our mission, leaving with the feeling that, in Acapulco, we are at peace.
