Evans Transportation Opens Cross-Border Hub in Laredo, Texas
Evans Transportation, a full-service, third-party provider of custom logistics solutions for a diverse range of North American shippers, opens its first office in Laredo, Texas. Located in one of the busiest Mexico-US trade gateways, the new office strengthens its cross-border capabilities and marks its first physical presence in the region. The physical expansion comes one year after the company introduced its service offering in Mexico.
“We are excited to expand our footprint in Laredo – the largest port in North America. This new office underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients and their suppliers by providing specialized support for Mexico and cross-border transportation. We look forward to fostering strong partnerships and providing additional logistical services for our clients and their suppliers,” says Charles Miller, Chief Commercial Officer, Evans Transportation.
The Laredo location serves as a hub for cross-border operations, enabling Evans Transportation to provide enhanced logistics solutions such as flatbed/oversize freight, dry van, intermodal, transloading, warehousing, and full supply chain management. With localized expertise, faster response times and tailored services, the office is well-positioned to meet growing demands of United States and Mexico trade.
“We are incredibly proud of our rapidly growing team and their impact on our clients' needs. We began this journey a year ago and it’s already making a tremendous impact,” says Marcelo Baptista, Vice President of Mexico Operations, Evans Transportation.
