Technology-driven logistics innovator Freight Technologies (Fr8Tech) is deploying AI-powered voice agents through its collaboration with Fetch.ai. This as part of Fr8Tech’s journey toward decentralized, intelligent logistics systems, placing the company at the forefront of AI-native supply chain innovation.

“The integration of ASI:One into our voice bots is a meaningful step toward building more scalable and intelligent logistics systems. Our internal testing confirmed that ASI1-Fast Agent is especially effective in voice-based data capture. By deploying these agents in Agentverse, we are setting the stage to automate mission-critical workflows across the freight ecosystem,” says Javier Selgas, CEO, Fr8Tech.

At the core of this advancement is the integration of ASI:One, Fetch.ai’s flagship agentic large language model (LLM), into Fr8Tech’s operations via Agentverse, a decentralized platform designed for autonomous agents. Following rigorous in-house testing by Fr8Tech’s AI Lab, the ASI1-Fast Agent emerged as the top performer in logistics-based voice interaction — especially in Spanish, a critical language for Fr8Tech’s regional client base.

Key performance metrics from the ASI1-Fast Agent include a 69% exact match rate with human-verified responses; 0.9 Levenshtein similarity, indicating strong alignment with expected phrasing; and 2.5 fluency ratio, showcasing natural and smooth conversational capability.

These agents can accurately extract and process structured data such as license plate numbers, driver names, and vehicle IDs, enabling real-time automation of essential freight operations. The technology is being piloted with LiveKit WebRTC integration for seamless real-time voice communication.

“Our collaboration with Freight Technologies showcases the true potential of autonomous agents in complex, real-world industries like logistics. By adopting Agentverse and the ASI:One model, Fr8Tech is tapping into a new level of automation and intelligence that was previously out of reach. This is just the beginning of what decentralized AI can do for global supply chains,” says Humayun Sheikh, CEO, Fetch.ai.

The deployment on Fetch.ai’s Agentverse grants Fr8Tech’s voice agents full autonomy, allowing them to communicate, reason, and learn independently from logistics data. This represents a leap forward in automation across the company’s digital platforms, including Fleet Rocket (Fr8Tech’s transportation management system) and Fr8App (its digital freight marketplace).

Fr8Tech and Fetch.ai plan to extend their decentralized AI capabilities across more logistics functions — including automated load tendering, predictive routing, and digital contract management — driving efficiency and resilience across global supply chains.
