VoltaGrid, Halliburton Partner on Distributed Power Solutions
VoltaGrid, a provider of distributed power and energy solutions, and Halliburton have signed a strategic collaboration agreement to deliver distributed power generation solutions for data centers worldwide. The initial rollout of the partnership is targeted for the Middle East.
The agreement combines the strengths of both companies to develop, deploy, and operate power generation systems. These will utilize turbines, reciprocating engines, and VoltaGrid’s proprietary QPac platform. The goal of the collaboration is to meet the increasing demand for reliable, lower-emission energy infrastructure in the digital and industrial sectors.
Halliburton will contribute its global operational footprint, local infrastructure, and regional regulatory expertise to the venture. VoltaGrid will provide its proprietary engineering design, technology innovation, and procurement capabilities. The companies plan to offer turnkey distributed power generation solutions.
The collaboration will give VoltaGrid’s existing large-scale data center customer base access to a global footprint through Halliburton’s operational capabilities.
Jeff Miller, President and CEO, Halliburton, stated the initiative underscores Halliburton’s efforts to enable sustainable energy solutions through collaboration and operational expertise. Nathan Ough, CEO, VoltaGrid, noted the partnership is a significant milestone in VoltaGrid’s global strategy. He added that combining VoltaGrid’s advanced distributed power systems with Halliburton’s global scale positions them to deliver reliable energy solutions in key emerging markets.
