EY Opens Databricks Center of Excellence in Mexico

Ernst & Young LLP (EY) has opened a Databricks Center of Excellence in Mexico City, expanding its AI and data analytics capabilities and strengthening workforce training in advanced technologies. The center extends EY’s US-based Databricks hub to provide nearshore support for global delivery and client innovation.

The center, located within EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Mexico, will serve as a hub for developing and deploying Databricks-powered solutions. It will bring together professionals in data engineering, machine learning, and analytics, joining over 1,000 EY employees already certified in Databricks technology. The initiative aligns with the EY organization’s global expansion of Databricks capabilities, including recent developments such as SAP Databricks in SAP Business Data Cloud.

The launch follows EY’s recognition at the Databricks Data + AI Summit 2025, where the organization received two global partner awards: AMER Innovation Partner of the Year and Data Intelligence Platform Partner of the Year. The Mexico hub is expected to strengthen EY’s ability to provide scalable, data-driven solutions and support clients in operationalizing AI across industries.

EY GDS Mexico delivers integrated services to EY member firms in the United States, Canada, and the European Union, positioning the center as a regional hub for talent development, advanced training, and deployment of AI and data solutions.
