During the MWC Barcelona 2024 event, Huawei made waves with its Digital Intelligence Talent Development initiative, drawing in over 60 guests from global carriers and industry leaders. This initiative saw the launch of Huawei's talent development service solutions, marking a significant step forward in shaping the future of digital intelligence.

In his opening speech, Jason Liu, President of Learning & Certification Services, Huawei, emphasized the crucial role of talent in accelerating digital intelligence transformation. He underscored the importance of combining AI technology with industry expertise. "Technology makes things work. And people make technology work," says Liu. 

Liu presented three key viewpoints on talent development, emphasizing the need for industry cognition alongside upskilling in AI technologies. He also predicted that AI service architects and AI algorithm engineers will emerge as pivotal roles in the era of digital intelligence, highlighting the role of AI-powered learning platforms in enhancing talent learning effectiveness and efficiency.

Huawei's talent development service solutions are tailored to align with customers' talent development value streams, encompassing talent planning, cultivation, assessment, and operation. These solutions aim to empower customers in building teams of digitally skilled talent, driving transformation across infrastructure, operations, and digital services.

Keynote speakers at the event further emphasized the significance of talent development in the digital age. Yannick Meiller, Associate Dean, ESCP Business School, stressed the importance of nurturing talent with creative, critical, and ethical thinking, in addition to expertise. Meanwhile, Rumeysa Kaymakci, Director, Turkcell Academy, highlighted the importance of digital leadership, focusing on transformational thinking and effective team management.

One notable success story shared during the session came from Mahdi Jemal, CSO, Ethio Telecom, who praised Huawei's Online-Merge-Offline platform for its role in facilitating talent planning and cultivation. 

As Huawei continues to bridge global wisdom and collaborate with customers, the focus remains on leading talent development in the intelligent world. The Digital Intelligence Talent Development initiative signals Huawei's commitment to driving innovation and shaping the future of digital transformation across industries.
