BYD, China’s leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has partnered with Huawei to incorporate advanced autonomous driving technology into its off-road vehicles under the Fangchengbao brand. The Bao 8 SUV, scheduled for release later this year, will be the first model equipped with Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving System. "The Bao 8 will be the first model to utilize Huawei's intelligent driving system, marking a new era of advanced off-road driving," Huawei stated.
Uber, Cruise Plan Autonomous Vehicle Rollout by 2025
Uber has announced a strategic partnership with Cruise, the autonomous vehicle subsidiary of General Motors, to offer passengers the option of traveling in self-driving vehicles beginning in 2025. This collaboration will integrate Cruise’s autonomous Chevy Bolt vehicles into Uber’s platform, allowing users to choose a robotaxi for their rides.
