Tech Mahindra, Google Ally to Meet Cloud Migration Needs

The incontestable business advantage of early cloud adopters amid the COVID-19 pandemic set off a horizontal migration in Mexico, producing overnight an imbalanced, demand-heavy market for cloud services and solutions. To attend this sizable opportunity, Tech Mahindra and Google Cloud partnered to establish a new delivery center in Guadalajara dedicated to the supply of the simplified google-cloud centric solutions needed to unlock new growth opportunities, according to a company press release. 

“[We are] proud to work in partnership with Tech Mahindra and help enable more customers with access to the technologies and expertise needed to simplify their migration to the cloud and unlock new opportunities for growth as they digitally transform for the future,” said Victor Morales, Vice President and Global System Integrators Partnerships, Google Cloud.

The purpose of the center is to empower companies across the Americas to accelerate their strategic digital transformation roadmaps through the construction of an “efficient landscape of solutions.” Supporting them through this process will be experts and certified engineers of various domains including: Google Cloud Platform on Anthos, data and analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and more. Ultimately, these experts will focus on assisting companies accelerate the pace of their organizations’ digital business practices based on their individual maturity, which can range from initial cloud migration all the way to network modernization with 5G and edge solutions. 

For Sudhir Nair, Chief Delivery Officer and Global Head, Tech Mahindra, Guadalajara was the ideal location for this center given the state’s “booming technology ecosystem” and IT engineers. Moreover, the move also represents an important step for the company’s partnership with Google to further enable customers to “accelerate their digital transformation journey with faster migration, and optimized business outcomes.”

Moreover, Tech Mahindra has committed to nurturing the professional development of talent by offering an opportunity to seek certification in Google Cloud architecture, DevOps, data, network and security, SAP, Athos and CCAI. This will allow companies to respond to a wide net to evolving consumer needs as emerging technologies continue to disrupt the status quo of processes in business verticals. However, for the meantime, experts will be preoccupied with helping clients modernize infrastructures and managing workloads with differentiated accelerators so that they are “future ready.”
