Mercedes-Benz Autobuses Mexico Appoints Holger Duerrfeld as CEO

Holger Duerrfeld has been named the new CEO of Mercedes-Benz Autobuses Mexico, effective Mar. 1, 2025.

Duerrfeld’s career with the Daimler Group began in 1992, when he joined as part of the junior staff at Mercedes-Benz AG. By 1995, he transitioned to Daimler Buses GmbH, where he assumed key roles in product and market management. 

His leadership experience spans multiple European markets, where he held prominent positions, including CFO of Daimler Buses France, CEO of Daimler Buses Switzerland, and CEO of Daimler Buses Italy. From 2017 to 2023, Duerrfeld led Daimler Buses France, overseeing the production plant and sales operations in Ligny—a critical component of the company’s European manufacturing network.
