Asendia Debuts Full-Service E-Commerce Shipping to Mexico
Asendia USA has introduced a direct entry logistics solution for e-commerce shipping to Mexico, designed to simplify cross-border trade for US and international sellers. This end-to-end service, fully managed by Asendia, includes customs clearance and last-mile delivery.
As the second-largest e-commerce market in Latin America, Mexico presents significant opportunities for online retailers, according to the company. Asendia’s direct entry solution aims to tap into this growth by eliminating reliance on intermediaries. The service leverages direct contracts with partners, offering flexible options to suit varying transit and budget needs.
Key features of the solution include Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) and Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) options, multiple entry points into Mexico, simplified customs procedures, and faster transit times for both expedited and standard shipping.
While the initial focus is on Mexico, Asendia USA plans to expand its logistics solutions to other Latin American markets, including Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, and Peru. Leslie Foxhoven, Executive Director for Latin America, Asendia USA, emphasized the company’s regional ambitions. “We have implemented multiple solutions in Mexico in a very short time, and we are moving quickly to replicate this success across the region,” Foxhoven said.
