Shein, Stori Launch Credit Card in Mexico to Drive E-commerce
Shein and Stori have partnered to launch their first co-branded credit card in Mexico, aimed at providing accessible payment solutions and enhancing the online shopping experience for customers.
The SheinxStori credit card, supported by MasterCard, enables users to shop at over 24 million locations worldwide. Designed specifically to improve financial accessibility, the card boasts an approval rate of 99%.
“As Mexico now leads global e-commerce growth at nearly 24.6%, it is crucial to offer solutions that open new opportunities,” wrote Patrick Lassauzet, Director of Corporate Communications, SHEIN, on LinkedIn. “With more payment options and improved access to credit, we are empowering more people to participate in the online fashion ecosystem, creating a better, more accessible shopping experience for everyone.”
The Shein x Stori card offers a range of incentives, including welcome bonuses and exclusive rewards. Cardholders receive 250 Shein points upon signup and earn double points for purchases on Shein Mexico’s platform, as well as points for purchases at other merchants.
“Our card improves access to credit while also educating consumers about responsible financial management,” said Marlene Garayzar, Chief Growth Officer and Co-Founder, Stori.
This new credit product debuts as the country prepares for El Buen Fin 2024, Mexico’s annual sales event. Additional promotions are planned to drive card adoption during this period. “This partnership is not just about transforming digital commerce—it is about fostering growth, inclusion, and opportunity across Mexico and the region, ensuring that more people can participate, benefit, and thrive in the e-commerce ecosystem,” said Lassauzet.
