Tiendanube has been awarded the “Made in Mexico” seal by the federal government through the Ministry of Economy, a recognition designed to promote local consumption and employment nationwide.

The e-commerce platform said the designation reinforces its role in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and national production within the digital ecosystem.

Between 2024 and the first half of 2025, businesses operating on Tiendanube generated an estimated economic impact of MX$800 million. During that period, SMEs on the platform recorded a 90% increase in transactions, an 86% rise in revenue compared to the previous year, and a 45% growth in new customers.

Luis Gómez, director of Small and Medium Businesses, Tiendanube Mexico, said the company will continue connecting consumers with local enterprises. “At Tiendanube, we work closely with SMEs to understand their needs and develop tools that allow them to grow in the digital ecosystem,” Gómez said.

According to the company, the seal not only highlights the identity of national products but also creates opportunities for local businesses to expand into international markets. Tiendanube emphasized that these efforts are supported through partnerships in payments, shipping, marketing, and social media.

The Ministry of Economy launched the “Made in Mexico” initiative to strengthen the visibility of local production and encourage the growth of domestic entrepreneurship.
