Mexico’s Biogas Sector Grabs Spotlight at Fifth National Forum

The National Biogas Council (CNBiogás) convened industry leaders at the Fifth Biogas Forum Mexico, held on May 22–23 at IPN’s ESIQIE campus in Mexico City. Under the central theme, Regulation, Technology, and the Future, the event focused on the urgent need to scale biogas as a viable clean energy solution, while advancing regulation and industrial adoption.

SENER Highlights Biofuels Regulation at Fifth Biogas Forum Mexico

In the context of the Fifth Biogas Forum Mexico, Julio César Regil, Director of Renewable Energies under the Undersecretariat of Energy Planning, SENER, presented the current outlook on Mexico’s evolving biofuels regulation in his presentation, Biofuels Regulatory Outlook. Regil addressed the recent introduction of a comprehensive regulatory reform aimed at strengthening the country’s biogas and biofuel sectors.
