FIDE Installs 43,600 PV Systems, 126MW
From 2023 to November 2024, the Electric Power Saving Trust (FIDE) successfully installed 43,600 photovoltaic systems, achieving a total of 126MW of power across homes and MSMEs throughout Mexico. FIDE, a private organization promoting efficient electricity use and renewable energy generation, shared these results as part of its first 11 years of operation. These achievements were made possible through the implementation of five key programs.
Lala Achieves 81% Clean Energy in Operations
Grupo Lala has been recognized by Abent 3T, a leading clean energy company, for its responsible and efficient energy practices. According to a statement from Lala, the company increased its use of clean energy by 22.3% from 2021 to 2023, achieving 81% clean energy usage in its operations last year.

According to the report On the Way to Clean Energy: Opportunities and Challenges in the Energy Transition," Chile, Mexico, and Brazil are leading the way in new renewable energy capacity in Latin America. Brazil is at the forefront, responsible for 58% of the new capacity expected by 2030.
