Novo Nordisk launches its first e-commerce platform in Latin America, offering direct access to its portfolio of therapies for patients in Mexico. The initiative is part of the company’s strategy to improve access and affordability for individuals living with chronic diseases such as diabetes, obesity, and hemophilia.

“This launch positions us as pioneers in the region and reaffirms our commitment to improving quality of life,” posts Valney Suzuki, Vice President and General Manager Mexico, Novo Nordisk, on LinkedIn.

The online store provides a direct purchasing channel for Novo Nordisk's innovative therapies, supporting its commitment to patient-centric healthcare. Through this digital platform, the company aims to enhance convenience for users with services such as free home delivery, rapid delivery options, and multiple payment methods.

In addition to product access, the platform integrates support services such as the Nuevo Yo program, which offers personalized assistance for patients. This program focuses on self-care, education, and treatment self-adherence. This is particularly relevant given that Mexico has some of the lowest treatment adherence rates globally, even for chronic conditions.

The launch reflects Novo Nordisk Mexico’s continued efforts to leverage technology in support of healthcare, and aligns with its broader mission of improving treatment access for people living with chronic and rare diseases.

Novo Nordisk emphasizes that the platform is designed to bring the company closer to patients by simplifying the purchasing experience while reinforcing its long-term commitment to public health outcomes
