Italian electronics leader Carlo Gavazzi has celebrated the inauguration of its first manufacturing plant in Baja California, Mexico. Located in Tijuana’s Ciudad Industrial Otay, the facility represents a strategic move to strengthen the company’s footprint in the Americas, focusing on innovation and semiconductor production.

“Tijuana is not only the most dynamic and fastest-growing manufacturing hub in the country but will also serve as our production base for the entire North American region. This facility will also house a research and development center to design innovative solutions for markets across North, Central, and South America. We are grateful to the government of Baja California for facilitating the establishment of this plant,” says Jean-Marc Theolier, CEO, Carlo Gavazzi America.
