If we had the opportunity to observe the recent history of humanity as if it were a series, the season-ending episode would leave us with a tense local and global scenario on several political fronts, a slow economic recovery after a threatening historical moment for humanity, and our main character (humanity) searching for certainty toward the future.

Hence with our motto  “Spring Is Coming,” we put a twist on our approach toward new times because we know that with the renewal of cycles, come new seasons and new approaches as well as circumstances and solutions.

It will not always be winter. Here’s where I propose we move from "Winter is coming," that phrase that announced coming storms on Game of Thrones, to "Spring is coming," indicating  a move from doubt to certainty, which is understood as that clear knowledge, decisive and determined, sure and real, to sustain our life and future projects.

This vision attempts to recognize the shaky reality we live in but at the same time it projects a vision that aims to restore our spirits, to reaffirm our commitment to face whatever comes with patience, innovation, capacity and, above all, to maintain our decision to grow despite the uncertainties.

In our last post, we reviewed the new moment for the industry that we are facing as well as the return of the figure of the contractor and the importance of preconstruction. These are key to achieving financial well-being in projects. They generate an environment of trust by placing a responsible builder on all fronts that controls possible situations with anticipated authority.

The "We Build (together)" philosophy that I have moved forward with in Grupo Casgo has always placed prosperity as one of the pillars of each project; this has insured that we  improve conditions and quality of life, which in turn allows the development of the potential of the human being that lives in the spaces, and offers entrepreneurs the ability to guarantee proper operation, excellence in every detail, and tranquility during the process to make the best decisions that materialize the proposed objectives. All of these are essential aspects to insure in every service being offered by a construction company in this day and age, more so with the competitive environment we face each day.

“Prosperity projected into the future” should be a top-of-mind  phrase for anyone in this industry. Why? When we (general contractors) focus on sustainability and the ability to meet the needs of current generations without compromising the resources and opportunities for growth and development of future generations, we are not only planning for today or the next couple of years, we are also truly planning for decades and centuries.

This is done by following three vital foundations: economic, social, and environmental that, when balanced, lead to equitable, viable and livable projects between the price and the function of the spaces as well as between the activities developed within them and the natural resources required to make possible a harmonious subsistence.

In this way, we ensure that our projects not only last over time but continue to add value, fulfilling the purpose for which they were designed. Every project we build needs to stand the test of time, maintaining their beauty, functionality, resistance to fashion and sustainability.

All of the above are results and goals that we should achieve and strive for in every project, but at the end of the day, they are essentially obtained by, first, the order we establish in our organization, which we divide into five aspects: Services, Building, Infrastructure, Housing  and Machinery.

Then, there is a focus on an integral process that goes from planning to execution, in an atmosphere of certainty that radiates tranquility, confidence and security to the investor.

Among  the keys to our projects   is pre-construction, which is the fundamental moment to manifest the best opportunities that outline a positive impact on the cost, schedule and value of the project long before starting construction.

For this, we rely on our people, a group of professionals with the experience and technical preparation to discover on time and with certainty the details of the process, prices, alternatives of construction systems and materials that result in decisions with the highest profitability for both the builder and the end user.

Our preconstruction service is supported by the latest technology available in the industry, creating 3D models to coordinate, reveal conflicts and observe the process  at each step and stage. In addition, with our interdisciplinary team of associates, we use Revit, Navisworks and TEKLA, among others, as well as an internal control system incorporated into BIM (VScontrol). The result:

-More advanced and specific construction alternatives.

-Diagnosis of setbacks.

-Execution studied in detail from a virtual model.

-Improved communication between all parties involved.

-Profitability from the reduction of downtime and waste.

Turnkey economic proposal.

Thus, when we applied this process at Grupo Casgo, we ended up with a service that provides a constructive intelligence that ensures the correct execution and fulfillment of the project's purpose, safeguarded by the commitment of our personnel, who make our clients' vision their own in every decision to correctly materialize each project.

Our "Spring is coming" motto supports the script for the episodes of the coming season. What will we have to face? We do not know but we are sure that by preserving the mission and vision of those who embark on the adventure of entrepreneurship, we will achieve excellence by fulfilling the objectives that were set for us, making things happen and turning dreams into new realities for the human being in each project.
