The government of Zacatecas has launched two significant projects for a new era of industrial development, aiming to position the state as a key industrial hub in Mexico. The projects are the construction of a state-of-the-art industrial park in Fresnillo and the development of new industrial buildings in the Parque Aeropuerto I.

With an investment exceeding US$33.6 million, these projects are being spearheaded by two internationally renowned construction firms, Construcciones MS and Construplan.

The new industrial developments will span over 15ha and will have the capacity to accommodate over 10 new companies. By providing an ideal environment for new industries and projects, these developments are expected to attract businesses from various sectors, including manufacturing, services, automotive, and mining. This investment is creating more than 800 direct and indirect jobs, boosting the state’s economic growth and industrial ecosystem.

The new facilities are designed to cater to the diverse needs of companies from various sectors, offering modern infrastructure, advanced services, and logistical connectivity. Zacatecas’ strategic location in north-central Mexico, with easy connectivity to key industrial clusters in both the north and Bajío regions, makes it an ideal destination for industrial investment. The state’s access to a highly skilled workforce further enhances its appeal to businesses looking to expand or relocate.
