Digitization Leads to Double-Digit Efficiency: TIASTICA
STORY INLINE POST
Q: What is the fundamental pain point in the supply chain that TIASTICA was created to solve, and how does your methodology address that problem differently from traditional logistics approaches?
A: We noticed that many companies sell technology but do not know how to engage with the client or be empathetic. They often lack the knowledge to guide the client on implementation and support after the technology is purchased.
More than just being a supplier, our standard is to be a strategic ally. We listen to understand exactly what the client needs. Based on that, we have a pool of consultants who we train to be experts in the field. They then accompany the client to drive efficiency and achieve full integration of all processes through the use of technology that is available today.
Q: In a market like Mexico, where digital maturity varies widely, how does TIASTICA balance the urgency of technological adoption with deeply rooted cultural resistance, especially in companies built on legacy structures and rigid, hierarchical decision-making?
A: We live in a highly digitized era. We strive to raise awareness among companies, regardless of whether they are an SME or a large industry. We demonstrate the benefits they will achieve by implementing technology or an adequate process tailored to their company.
We manage resistance by ensuring the user is a participant from the start. We identify their specific pain points, such as excessive routing time or complex invoicing, and show them precisely how the technology resolves these issues. By involving users and communicating the personal benefits, their perspective shifts from viewing the change as more work to seeing it as valuable assistance. Resistance is highest when users are simply informed of an impending change; conversely, when included and educated, they become advocates for the implementation.
Operationally, the main hurdle is a lack of data integrity and visibility. Many companies rely on disparate systems or spreadsheets, resulting in siloed data and no real-time control over assets or services. Real-time visibility enables more accurate decision-making, which in turn leads to benefits like fuel consumption savings, which also contribute to carbon reduction. Lack of visibility causes operational collapses, sometimes forcing operators to work over 15 hours per shift. Implementing technology reduces these long hours, creating benefits across human resources, the environment, and overall operational efficiency.
Q: Which industries have shown the greatest demand for TIASTICA’s solutions, and is there a particular sector that has stood out?
A: We assist transport companies in implementing comprehensive solutions to manage their entire operational and administrative process, covering unit assignment, maintenance, tires, and everything a transport company needs to understand its operational status.
Additionally, in distribution, we have received a strong response from food, beverage, and pharmaceutical companies across Mexico and Latin America. Our technologies help them achieve a more optimal distribution of their products and improve customer service.
We currently have technologies implemented in national and LATAM companies where, once an order is sent, the end client automatically receives a notification and can track their order in real-time, similar to an Uber-style notification. We provide real-time notifications all the way to the final client.
We have had very challenging and interesting projects, and we have received excellent feedback from our clients. They report seeing savings ranging from 18% to 30% in areas like dead time, returns, and fuel consumption within the first month of implementing a last-mile solution. We are very satisfied to contribute these numbers.
Regarding transportation, everything that moves in Mexico requires transport. We approach all companies, regardless of size. We welcome working with small businesses; we have companies approach us saying they have three or four vehicles, and we tell them they can start with technological processes immediately. It is gratifying because, one year later, they have evolved to 40 vehicles, and after two years, they have 60, and so on.
For example, at the recent ExpoTransporte ANPACT, I encountered several clients who told me that ever since they implemented our system, they, as the owner, could attend these events because their operation was now secure and visible. They have visibility and integration of GPS with their ERP. We feel satisfied to support them in gaining this control and visibility, allowing them to finally rest.
Q: What are the main factors that companies should consider when selecting a technology provider? How do you help them to choose the right technology for their operations?
A: I have always been transparent; every company needs technology, and my consistent advice is to adopt it, regardless of the provider. The key differentiator is the accompanying support, not just purchasing the software and then being left alone.
My advice is always to investigate the market solutions, the provider's history, the support offered, and the implementation process. It is not enough to be self-taught with a boxed system. When integrating processes, you need an ally who can guide you or suggest improvements, leveraging experience from numerous prior implementations.
The goal is to find a strategic ally who is empathetic to your specific company's needs. We refer to ourselves as the doctor: we diagnose what hurts and help resolve it. Companies should assess their own state of maturity to define their goals. Once they understand where they are, where they want to go, and what their next step is, they can adapt technology and find an ally that provides comprehensive support, accompaniment, and crucial regulatory updates.
This vision is what led to the creation of Smart Logistics and INNODUM. These initiatives function as spaces for analysis and learning where industry experts meet with business leaders to reflect, optimize processes, and anticipate future challenges. Their goal is to generate a positive impact on the industry, elevate the visibility of Mexican companies, and strengthen their preparedness in the face of an ever-evolving market.
Q: What challenges affect the logistics sector in Mexico, and how does TIASTICA position its technology to help clients mitigate these risks?
A: By 2026, our primary goal at TIASTICA is to consolidate our position as the leading reference in digitalization and strategic accompaniment for logistics and transport across Mexico and Latin America. More than just implementing technology, our focus is on building long-term relationships under a win-win alliance model, where our clients' growth is our own.
Among our key projects for 2026, a strategic alliance with Victory stands out as a notable highlight. This partnership aims to drive the adoption of electric vehicles (EV) in last-mile distribution, with the vision of positioning Mexico as a regional benchmark for sustainable mobility and cleaner, more efficient, and responsible logistics.
Additionally, we will host the third edition of our flagship industry events—spaces specifically designed to connect leaders, associations, and technology, while accelerating the strategic decision-making that is transforming the sector.
On a personal level, following my nomination for the 100 Women Leaders in Transport and Logistics, I am committed to using this platform to promote female leadership, foster strong alliances, and open more spaces for women within an industry undergoing a profound evolution.
Our growth for 2026 is ambitious, but it is backed by the trust of our clients, the solidity of our processes, and a clear vision of where we want to take the industry. At TIASTICA, we work with well-defined objectives and the conviction to achieve each one with a real, lasting impact.
