Transport Capacity Services (TCS), a multi-modal transportation and cross-border solutions provider, is opening a new office in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. The new office will strengthen its operational presence in the country and reinforce its ability to manage complex, high-volume freight flows between the United States and Mexico.

“While tariffs and market conditions remain uncertain, cross-border trade remains essential for many businesses and will continue growing. Mexico is home to some of the world’s largest manufacturers and exporters, with about 80% of its goods shipped to the United States. Monterrey, as one of the country’s major shipping hubs, plays a vital role in that network. Establishing a presence there allows us to better serve our customers with teams on both sides of the border and the expertise to move freight through any crossing point,” says Ben Enriquez, CEO, TCS.

The Monterrey expansion enhances TCS’s capacity to deliver efficient, reliable, and technology-driven logistics solutions across one of North America’s most critical trade corridors. With operations now firmly established on both sides of the border, the company is strategically positioned to support customers navigating increasingly complex cross-border supply chains amid shifting trade policies and market uncertainty.

TCS’s growth strategy is anchored in deep industry experience and a strong technology backbone. The company leverages an extensive network of trusted carriers, including CTPAT-certified partners, alongside advanced digital tools that streamline cross-border processes and improve visibility, compliance, and cost control. Its leadership team brings more than 100 years of combined logistics and transportation experience, enabling TCS to help shippers manage regulatory complexity while maintaining operational efficiency.

“Cross-border logistics can be complex and unpredictable. TCS combines technology, experience and a robust network to eliminate many of those challenges, ensuring goods move seamlessly and securely across the US-Mexico border,” says Enriquez.

From Monterrey, TCS will deliver a broad portfolio of services designed to support modern supply chains, including cross-border shipping between the United States and Mexico; domestic transportation in both countries spanning standard freight, expedited, and intermodal solutions; cross-dock operations for consolidation, inventory transfer, and distribution; and access to a diversified carrier base covering full truckload, intermodal, specialized, and temperature-controlled capacity. These offerings are complemented by Mexico and US-specific customs expertise and technology-driven systems that provide end-to-end visibility and automated workflows.

By expanding into Monterrey, TCS positions itself closer to one of Mexico’s most important industrial and logistics hubs, aligning its operational footprint with the realities of nearshoring, manufacturing growth, and sustained cross-border trade. The move underscores the company’s commitment to delivering smart, seamless logistics solutions across North America’s most vital trade lanes

“Cross-border logistics is full of operational and regulatory complexity that can become a bottleneck for many organizations. We formed TCS to eliminate those challenges and uncertainties. Our team’s deep expertise and long-standing carrier relationships in both the United States and Mexico help keep goods moving smoothly and compliantly,” says Enriquez.

Enriquez joins a seasoned executive team with more than 100 years of combined logistics leadership. Frank McGuigan, Executive Chairman, TCS, highlights the company’s experience-driven approach: “Ben and I have previously led and scaled some of the industry’s most successful businesses by combining trusted relationships with a relentless focus on solving real customer challenges. At TCS, we bring that same proven approach, along with decades of experience and a robust network, to improve compliance, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs,” MBN reports.
