Mexico Mining Update

2020 was a very challenging and difficult year for the world and for Mexico was no exception, said the Mexican Minister of Economy, Tatiana Clouthier Carrillo, on Day 1 of the Mexico Mining Forum 2021. She added that the mining sector will continue to face past challenges, as well as new ones in 2021. In addition, she mentioned that the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of the mining sector and the need for it to become a sustainable activity that oversees and protects the economy, workers and the environment.
