Third-party logistics (3PL) provider Weber Logistics has announced plans to open a new 12,727m2 distribution center (DC) in Irvine, California, starting January 2025. This facility, leased exclusively for a leading ramen noodles brand, will be the fourth distribution operation Weber manages for the food company in California.

“In a market where households value fast, convenient and affordable meals, the ramen noodles category has seen tremendous growth. We are proud to be a long-time logistics partner for one of the category's top brands, providing a scalable distribution solution to help fuel their growth,” says Bob Lilja, CEO, Weber.

The new DC will handle finished goods shuttled from the brand’s regional manufacturing center, managing inventory and processing retail orders for distribution across North America. Weber’s comprehensive service portfolio for this client includes drayage, transportation, warehouse distribution, and US-Mexico cross-border logistics, offering a seamless and scalable solution tailored to the company’s needs.

The new Irvine facility will be food-grade certified, supporting the company’s strategic focus on the food and beverage sector. Weber specializes in handling a variety of products, from dry goods to perishable items like candy, requiring temperature-controlled storage and transportation.
