L'Oréal Group Mexico is focusing on sustainability by reducing the environmental impact of its packaging, promoting carbon neutrality, and addressing global challenges like water management. The company has implemented Waterloop technology at its Xochimilco facility to recycle 80% of its water and aims to replicate this model in San Luis Potosi by 2026. L'Oréal's packaging strategy includes making all plastic packaging refillable, reusable, recyclable, or compostable by 2025, with a 20% reduction in packaging volume by 2030, and developing 100% recycled PET bottles in collaboration with startups like Carbios.
