IWG Grows Flexible Workspace Network in Mexico

The International Workplace Group (IWG) is opening seven new flexible work centers in Mexico, reflecting a broader industry shift toward adaptive, tech-enabled office solutions.
"We are establishing a stronger and necessary footprint in Mexico with these latest openings. As important business hubs, Mexico City and Irapuato are fantastic locations to drive our expansion plans," says Mark Dixon, CEO, IWG.
IWG, a global provider of flexible workspaces, announced the launch of six new locations in Mexico City and one in Irapuato, Guanajuato, under its Regus and Spaces brands. The expansion comes amid a record year of growth for the company, with 899 new centers signed and 624 opened globally in 2024.
The newly opened centers in Mexico City are located at Regus The Point, Spaces Torre Sur Distrito Santa Fe, Spaces Insurgentes Sur, Spaces Altiva, Spaces Condesa, and Spaces Colonia del Valle-Torre Ácora. In Irapuato, the new site is Regus Cardinal. These locations aim to serve businesses of all sizes and sectors, offering personalized office solutions through IWG’s “Design Your Own Office” program.
Dixon says that the expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to Mexico, calling Mexico City and Irapuato "fantastic places" to support IWG’s broader growth plans.
The move coincides with a global reevaluation of the workplace. Hybrid and flexible models, long discussed in theory, gained traction during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Industry observers note that companies are now prioritizing environments that go beyond basic infrastructure, focusing on user experience, wellness, and adaptability, reports MBN.
Modern flex space design increasingly integrates smart systems, energy efficiency, and sustainable materials to support long-term functionality and ease of maintenance. The focus is on creating environments that can evolve with clients’ business needs, offering both operational efficiency and employee well-being.
