OXXO and the Government of Veracruz, through the Ministry of Economic Development and Port Affairs (SEDECOP), have renewed the Hecho en Veracruz (Made in Veracruz) agreement aimed at boosting the local economy. The initiative promotes the sale of products from local suppliers in exclusive displays at nearly 100 OXXO stores.

This partnership strengthens OXXO's commitment to supporting the communities where it operates, offering a retail platform for local entrepreneurs and small businesses in Veracruz. With this agreement, more consumers will be able to find authentic Veracruz products in their local OXXO stores, fostering local trade and creating growth opportunities for producers.

“We know that the growth of local suppliers is key to Veracruz's economic development. Through this partnership, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting local talent and bringing Veracruz products to more consumers through our store network,” said José Ramón, Regional Operations Manager for Veracruz, OXXO.

Ernesto Pérez, Minister, SEDECOP highlighted the goal of integrating the uniqueness and quality of local products into the commercial chain. “Thanks to the collaboration and commitment of companies dedicated to improving living conditions, today we have succeeded in bringing local products to places where they were previously unavailable,” he said.

The Hecho en Veracruz program has allowed 12 local suppliers to expand their market presence, offering consumers high-quality products with Veracruz identity. With this renewal, OXXO and SEDECOP aim to continue driving the economic development of the state while promoting the consumption of regional products.
