El Buen Fin 2025 Extends to Five Days, Expected to Boost MSMEs

El Buen Fin 2025 will run from Thursday, Nov. 13, to Monday, Nov. 17, marking the 15th edition of Mexico’s annual shopping event with several changes announced by the Ministry of Economy. The event will last five days and will see increased participation from MSMEs and the introduction of the Hecho en México seal to promote domestic products.

Mexico’s e-commerce market continues to demonstrate remarkable growth, establishing itself as one of the most dynamic sectors in Latin America. Fibra Danhos announced plans to invest MX$6 billion (US$321 million) in the construction of a new shopping center in Oaxaca, expanding its portfolio beyond its traditional markets. The project, named “Parque Oaxaca,” aims to enhance the region’s retail offering and stimulate local economic activity.

Amazon Mexico Relaunches Beauty Store, Targets Young Consumers

Amazon Mexico announced the relaunch of its Premium Beauty store, a digital platform designed to strengthen its position in the beauty and personal care market. The renewed store features a wide range of products from established brands such as Lancôme, Clinique, Kérastase, and Dyson, as well as emerging names including The Ordinary and Colorescience. The company stated that the goal is to ensure customers have access to authentic products, reinforcing trust in online shopping.

Mexico Suspends Temporary Footwear Imports to Aid Local Industry

The Mexican government has issued a presidential decree suspending the temporary importation of finished footwear under the Manufacturing, Maquiladora and Export Services Industry (IMMEX) program. Signed on Aug. 23 and published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF), the decree removes tariff headings 64.01 to 64.05, covering finished footwear, from eligibility for temporary importation under IMMEX.
