MORENA’s presidential candidate Claudia Sheinbaum outlined a five-point plan to boost the business sector: streamlining regulatory processes, upgrading customs infrastructure, enhancing security measures, promoting investment planning, and fostering foreign investment by integrating territorial planning and workforce development into investment strategies.

Puerto Verde Launches Initiative to Build Mexico-US Border Trade Corridor

The Puerto Verde Global Trade Bridge (PVGTB), a bi-national developer headquartered in the United States, is spearheading an infrastructure project aimed at strengthening supply chains and bolstering trade efficiency along the Mexico-US border. Through its Puerto Verde Coalition, PVGTB is collaborating with public and private stakeholders to establish a resilient, secure, and sustainable commercial trade corridor linking Eagle Pass, Texas, and Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

XPO Expands Service Centers to Boost Freight Network

XPO, a leading company in Less-than-Truckload (LTL) freight transportation, opened three new service centers in strategic locations across the United States. These centers mark the beginning of a significant expansion following the acquisition of 28 facilities from Yellow Corporation in December 2023.

BERGÉ Secures a New Logistics Contract for Audi in Mexico.

Logistics leader BERGÉ secured a new logistics contract for Audi in Mexico as part of its expansion efforts. The contract will cover operations at the San Jose Chiapa plant in Puebla, where the Q5 model is produced.
