Echo Global Logistics has launched EchoXBorder, a new offering designed to provide seamless customs brokerage services between the United States and Mexico, as the company continues to scale its cross-border footprint and technology stack.

"EchoXBorder offers the same expertise and advanced technology that our clients and carriers count on in our other areas of business. By applying these assets to customs brokerage, we are able to provide shippers with faster clearance, fewer delays, and lower costs," says Dave Menzel, President and COO, Echo Global Logistics.

The company says that EchoXBorder will provide nationwide customs brokerage services in both countries, plus border consolidation and deconsolidation, inventory control at the border, and integrated customs and freight management for end-to-end shipment control. The service is also backed by bilingual compliance expertise, a single point of contact, and real-time visibility, reporting, and analytics through its technology platform.

"This approach to cross-border logistics enables operational gains through integrated logistics management between the United States and Mexico. Our team has extensive experience with customs brokerage and is equipped to help our clients navigate trade regulations and adapt to market changes," says Troy Ryley, President, Echo Mexico.

"In addition to serving as your customs brokerage partner, EchoXBorder is fully integrated with Echo's transportation network. EchoXBorder is an all-encompassing solution, built to serve clients with diverse needs. This includes customs clearance at US and Mexico airports, ocean port clearance, and brokerage through all major land ports," says Jose Minarro, Managing Partner of Mexico Client Sales, Echo Mexico.

Echo’s customs brokerage push builds on its growing on-the-ground presence in Mexico. The company opened its Mexico division headquarters in Mexico City on March 20, 2025, and later announced the grand opening of a new Monterrey cross-border office on Sept. 24, 2025, complementing facilities in Guadalajara and Laredo, Texas.

Echo has also highlighted its cross-border security posture, noting it earned CTPAT certification as a 3PL in August 2025, which it says supports safer, more secure freight movement across the border.

Back in September 2025, Echo Global Logistics opened its new cross-border office in Monterrey. The expansion strengthened the company’s footprint in the country and enhanced its ability to support shippers and carriers navigating Mexico–US trade flows, reports MBN. The company has managed cross-border transportation solutions for nearly a decade and began expanding its on-the-ground presence in Mexico in 2024 to meet growing demand for specialized services. In March, the company launched its Mexico division headquarters in Mexico City, complementing existing facilities in Guadalajara and in Laredo, Texas.

Its portfolio in Mexico covers a wide range of essential modes, including dry van, temperature-controlled, flatbed, less-than-truckload (LTL), intermodal, and managed transportation. With integrated cross-border technology and a team of bilingual experts, the company ensures seamless navigation of trade and customs regulations.
