Logistics Sector Welcomes Women, But Challenges Remain
Women's participation in the logistics industry has progressed in recent years, yet significant challenges persist, highlighting the need for a more inclusive environment. Statistics reveal mixed progress. While women constitute 39% of the supply chain workforce, there is a decline in their participation. Only about 31.6% of corporate management executives in the trucking industry are women, with even fewer participating in technical roles or as drivers.
