Urban Transport in Mexico Drops in April 2025
In April 2025, most major Mexican cities experienced a decline in structured urban passenger transport usage, both in passenger numbers and kilometers traveled, according to official data. Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Leon, and other states reported significant drops, with Monterrey showing the sharpest decrease in distance traveled. Queretaro stood out as the only city with growth, recording a 30% increase in ridership year over year.
