SENER, CFE, TC Energía Discuss Energy Infrastructure Projects
Mexico’s Minister of Energy (SENER) held a strategic meeting with representatives from TC Energía and CFE to advance critical energy infrastructure projects aimed at strengthening the country's energy sector.
Luz Elena González highlighted the importance of the collaboration in a statement following the meeting, noting that it represents a significant step toward bolstering Mexico's energy infrastructure, accelerating the energy transition, and promoting sustainable development for the benefit of Mexican families.
The meeting was attended by François Poirier, Global CEO, TC Energía, along with Stanley Chapman and Tina Faraca, global leaders in natural gas. Other notable participants included Gregory Romero, Leonardo Robles, Eréndira Corral, and Francisco Javier Maldonado, reflecting a high-level commitment to the discussed projects.
Discussions centered around advancing projects that enhance Mexico's natural gas infrastructure, which is critical for energy security and reliability. These projects are expected to support Mexico's transition to cleaner energy while driving sustainable economic growth and improving the well-being of local communities.
