Q: How is SoftwareOne positioned in the Mexican cloud market and what differentiates the company from competitors?

A: We continue to consolidate our position as a key player within the technology sector, standing out for our ability to offer comprehensive solutions ranging from license management to cloud optimization. We have a global team of 9,300 employees and over 5,000 certifications in 60 countries. We act as a single provider for multiple services, enabling companies to reduce costs, optimize their infrastructure, and improve compliance. We experienced significant growth in 2024, outperforming previous years, attracting new customers, and consolidating our market position.

We stand apart thanks to our ability to offer complete solutions ranging from license sales to cloud migration, security, cost analysis, and optimization. Unlike companies that focus on specific niches, we provide a comprehensive approach. In addition, our strategic alliances with industry leaders such as Microsoft, AWS, and Google, position us as a trusted advisor, able to provide neutral and customized solutions that align with our customers' business objectives.

Q: Which industries embraced your solutions the most during 2024?

A: The financial, retail, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors showed the highest adoption rates. These sectors faced significant challenges related to security, compliance, and digital transformation, which prompted them to migrate to the cloud. Transitioning to the cloud requires large upfront investments, in addition to a cultural shift within organizations. Through our expertise, we not only assist in the migration, but also provide technology adoption services and training to ensure that companies maximize the use of their solutions and achieve successful integration.

Q: What are the main challenges Mexican companies face when adopting cloud solutions, and how is SoftwareOne helping to overcome them?

A: Companies often believe that the transition to the cloud involves high initial costs, especially when compared to the use of physical infrastructure. By working together with hyperscalers in the market, we help companies plan the transition efficiently, sharing costs and preventing them from skyrocketing. We also support clients during the adoption of new technologies, ensuring optimal use of the investment in the long term and allowing them to reinvest the savings generated in the adoption of more cloud capabilities.

We keep clients informed on their use of cloud services through a comprehensive approach that includes advanced practices in FinOps and Software Asset Management. Our Client Portal provides clients with real-time visibility into cloud consumption, even in multi-cloud environments. This tool allows clients to monitor and optimize their consumption, set alerts, and receive daily reports to make informed decisions. We also help them understand how different departments in the organization impact total cloud expenditure, allowing them to have an accurate and detailed view of operational costs and optimize their technology infrastructure.

Q: How do your platforms integrate into your customers' existing infrastructure?

A: Our platform integrates easily into customers' existing infrastructure, as we operate as a mirror of the platforms they use, such as Microsoft, AWS, and Google. This ensures that the customer maintains full control over their data and security, while we provide complete visibility into consumption, alerts, and licensing, centralizing all information in one place.

Q: How does SoftwareOne help Mexican companies manage their multi-vendor relationships and optimize their IT ecosystem?

A: SoftwareOne facilitates the management of multi-vendor relationships through a centralized platform, which allows procurement and technology teams to control contracts, response times, and licenses in one place. We also offer a contract and negotiation management service, optimizing costs and terms through our global partnerships. By taking on the risk of contract and legal management, we simplify the process for teams, allowing them to focus on their technology strategy while we take care of vendor negotiation and management.

Q: How do SoftwareOne's solutions integrate with cybersecurity best practices in the market?

A: The integration of our cybersecurity solutions is backed by the support of our corporate headquarters in Switzerland, which allows us to make significant investments in security. We also have a Security Operations Center (SOC) that monitors our clients' infrastructure and platforms 24/7, ensuring rapid detection of threats and attacks.

Q: How are emerging technologies influencing SoftwareOne's market strategy?

A: We have embraced multiple emerging technologies, especially AI. Our team in Latin America, which incorporates between 1,500 and 2,000 individuals, is well-trained in AI, security, and data analytics. This allows us to accompany clients in the adoption of AI, helping them to create solutions such as chatbots and simplify processes such as customer service in sectors such as insurance and manufacturing.

We also work closely with companies in the adoption of new technologies, guiding them through every stage from understanding objectives to implementation. The combination of AI and data analytics enables companies to make informed decisions in real time, improving risk management and optimizing profitability.

Q: How will SoftwareOne expand its operations in Mexico during this 2025?

A: One of our priorities will be to strengthen our presence in Mexico through continued investment in our specialized sales force. This will allow us to offer closer and more personalized support to key sectors such as finance, healthcare, government, education, retail, and manufacturing. Our ability to share global and regional use cases will help address industry-specific challenges, ensuring that our customers benefit from best practices and solutions tailored to their needs.

We are also expanding our operations outside of major cities, such as Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara, to reach emerging markets within the country. This will allow us to increase our visibility and position ourselves as a leader not only in licensing, but also in high-level technology services. SoftwareOne also maintains an active acquisition strategy, which we expect will generate new opportunities to strengthen our presence in Mexico and Latin America.

Q: Where does Mexico stand in enterprise technology adoption, and what should the country do to reach its full potential?

A: Mexico still has a long way to go within the industry, especially compared with countries like Colombia or Brazil. Although Mexico occupies a prominent position in the Spanish-speaking economy, it lags behind in the adoption of technologies such as cloud, cybersecurity, and AI.

To maximize their potential, companies should ensure that they have the correct advice and that their technology teams have the necessary support to carry out transformation projects. The key lies in planning and seeking the correct allies, who can provide the necessary support, even with limited budgets.
